'Vietnamese Messi' seems ready for a move to Europe, FOX believes
FOX Sports Asia’s reporter Gabriel Tan picked out Quang Hai as one of the 6 Southeast Asian stars who seem to be ready to weigh up a move to Europe this summer transfer window.
The potential-player list consists of Takefusa Kubo (Japan), Alireza Beiranvand (Iran), Chanathip Songkrasin (Thailand), Almoez Ali (Qatar), Jo Hyeon-woo (Korea Republic), and Nguyen Quang Hai (Vietnam).
Standing on the list with Nguyen Quang Hai is Chanathip Songkrasin (Thailand) whose team was destroyed by the hands of Quang Hai’s side in King's Cup 2019 recently.
Coming to the summer break, most of European giants desire to reinforce their clubs ahead of the next campaign and are ready to loosen the purse strings in order to secure such lucrative contracts from Asia where it is considered an outstanding place having potential deals with talented youngsters who yet to assert themselves on higher-level arenas.
Quang Hai is identified as the hottest player of ASEAN football at this time. He contributed hugely to his Vietnam side in drawing into AFC U-23 Championship Finals then lifting a trophy in AFF Suzuki Cup, securing a ticket on 2019 AFC Asian Cup Semi-finals and coming fourth in Asian Games last year.
Quang Hai was received a lot of attention from big football clubs over Asia but Ha Noi FC does not wanted to finish his services yet, which is supposed to be impossible if there is a lucrative European deal coming up.
