Thể Thao 247 - Alexander Dang hopes Coach Park Hang-seo will lend a hand to make the overseas player’s dream of wearing Vietnam NT shirt come true.
On May 5 evening, Coach Park Hang-seo made his appearance in Norway to attend a Tippeligaen match of Sandefjord and Nest Sotra, with a goal to have a specific evaluation of the overseas player Alexander Dang.
The player performed an unremarkable display in the Nest Sotra offensive line. It was partly because of the overwhelmed opponent Sandefjord and his lack of received ball from the mates.
Fair to say, it cannot be judged a player over a match but after all, Coach Park Hang-seo had his own evaluation.
Alexander Dang shared via Nest Sotra site about his eagerness and desire to be capped to Vietnam NT.
Is there a VFF representative came to see you play?
“Coach Park Hang-seo of Vietnam NT was watching me play from the stand. I will stay at Sandefjord to have a conversation with him about my display. Hopefully, he will lend me a hand to become a Vietnam NT’s player.”
Are there a lot of Vietnamese fans texting with the hope that you will return to play for Vietnam NT?
Dang told: “Playing for Vietnam NT is a great thing. My second country has 95 million people, but coach Park took a long journey coming here to see me play and to talk to me. I am really proud of that.”
Vietnam NT is going to take a big game soon enough especially World Cup 2022 Qualifiers. What difficulties are waiting you ahead?
Dang shared: “It will be an amazing journey. However, the struggles are the different culture and weather which is approximately 35 degrees Celsius. I once had sunstroke but if I has this chance, I will take it.”
The 29-year-old player marked 39 goals after 70 matches wearing Nest-Sotra outfit.
He had made his appearance in 56 matches for Sotra SK and gained 85 goals, 27 matches for Vadmyra and seized 32 goals, 33 matches for Holding and earned 31 goals. He has collected 187goals/185 matches through his career.
