Various Thailand presses have published the news on chasing European coaches, or Spain in particular and deny the news with Vietnam head coach Park Hang-seo.
The South Korean media wrote that Thailand, and Indonesia is paying more attention on coach Park Hang-seo while the South Korean strategist’s contract with Vietnam national team will soon expire on 30 January, 2020.
Despite the news from Korean side, famous presses in Thailand raised their voice to affirm their considerations to Eropean coaches as a replacement for the former Sirisak after a disappointing King’s Cup 2019.
The Siam Sports reveals that Carles Romagosa, the technical director is helping Thailand attract more coach from the westen countries. Mr Romagosa used to coach Barcelona’s youth team, he had wide relationships with famous strategists and was considered a suitable factor for Thailand play.
The name of the coach is not unveiled yet. Thailand is likely to welcome the 14th foreign coach to be in charge of Thailand's national team.
Besides, The SMM Sports also confirmed its recent contacts with famous coaches in Europe since Thailand wishes to quicken the process for better performance in World Cup 2022 Qualifiers.
There hasn’t been any rumors of Thailand chasing Park Hang-seo. Somyot Poompanmoung once said their priority is for Western coaches.
