Cong Phuong is reported to be present at Tan Son Nhat airport to leave for Belgium
Cong Phuong officially set out for Belgium to join forces with his new teammates at Sint-Truidense today. The flight of Cong Phuong departing from Tan Son Nhat airport will land in Paris first, then transit to Belgium. The flight is expected to take about 16 hours departing at 8:30 am this morning on July 12.
According to the head of HAGL, Mr. Nguyen Tan Anh, Cong Phuong's medical examination will take place at the start of next week.
"The health examination of Cong Phuong is a bit troubled, a few days back from the original plan. This weekend, he will fly to Belgium and finish the last procedure on July 15. After medical examination, Cong Phuong will immediately go to practice with his teammates. He is eager to play in Sint-Truidense"- VNE reported.
To prepare for the presence of Cong Phuong, the Belgian team has sold striker Cristian Ceballos, the senior player from Barcelona's famous La Masia training academy, and once served Tottenham Hotspur club. Previously, Sint-Truidense also parted with another important player, Takehiro Tomiyasu, a Japanese player who had played against Cong Phuong at the 2019 Asian Cup.
